Eligibility
- Has a child support order in Wood County and is currently behind or at risk of becoming noncompliant with support obligations and is unemployed or underemployed.
- Is medically able to work and lives within the Wood County area.
Referral Information
- Wood County Child Support workers make most referrals.
- Other agencies can inquire to determine if someone may be eligible to participate.

Wood County Child Support, in partnership with CW Solutions, is one of five counties in Wisconsin to operate a five-year demonstration project through the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families to provide a new and innovate approach to services for Non-Custodial Parents with a support order. This program, called ELEVATE was established January 2020, in lieu of more traditional, enforcement-oriented approaches.
ELEVATE provides four key program services including: intensive case management , employment & training, parenting, and enhanced child support. The goal of the program is to support Non-Custodial Parents in becoming financially stable, increasing support payments and fostering a stronger relationship with their children; in addition, to strengthening the relationship between Child Support, Non-Custodial and Custodial Parents.
