Eligibility
Youth eligible for ROUTE services are:

  • Up to the age of 21 years old
  • Experienced or are experiencing sex trafficking prior to turning 18

ROUTE is our newest program, offered through the Department of Children and Families, to help address the impact of trafficking on our emerging adult population. We work closing with county and community partners to both identify and serve emerging adults who experienced trafficking or exploitation before turning 18 years old. 

ROUTE services and support are rooted in Resources & Opportunities to Uplift Trafficking Experiences.

ROUTE offers resource and service navigation, mentorship, advocacy, and accompaniment to emerging adults who are currently experiencing or have previously experienced sex trafficking* prior to the age of 18. ROUTE also manages a warmline that is available to community partners, caregivers, and youth. ROUTE programming is available to eligible youth up to the age of 21.

*Experiences of sex trafficking may include engaging in commercial sex acts, trading sex, survival sex, or other types of sexual exploitation.
