  • Has attendance concerns
  • Not open in Youth Justice

Truancy Prevention & Opportunity Program (TPOP) is our newest program, offered through a partnership with Wood County Human Services Department to address truancy issues with youth age 10 - 16 in south Wood County schools. 

This 16-week, strength-based program promotes positive relationships and connections to school. A case manager supports the youth and their caregivers ​in developing skills and addressing challenges to improve regular school attendance. 

The goals of the program includes:

  • Improve school attendance
  • Divert students from court and youth justice settings
  • Create a sense of belonging at school for the youth
  • Increase graduation rates and improve long-term success

We will report outcomes annually, at the end of each school year.
