Education: Required: Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field that provides the necessary skills to meet the expectations of the position.
Experience: Preferred - Strong preference is given to candidates who have demonstrated experience working in the mental health field or working with adults who have mental health issues.
Key Knowledge: Preferred – Comprehensive knowledge of mental health and the criminal justice system.
Transportation: Required - This position requires the staff member to hold a valid driver's license, maintain valid driver's insurance and use their personal and legally licensed vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is provided for all business-related travel.
Clearance: Required - Must pass a criminal background check.

- Outstanding case management skills including application of holistic and comprehensive case management services utilizing Family Systems and Trauma Informed Care to. Case Management includes: intake, goal setting, long-term case plan development, case plan evaluation, progress monitoring, advocacy, and referral.
- Effectively respond to behavior crisis situations that builds safety for participants.
- Ability to motivate and empower participants to achieve their personal goals.
- Ability to work independently with strong sense of focus, task-oriented, nonjudgmental, participant focused and have clear sense of boundaries.
- Excellent conflict resolution and/or mediation skills.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse families and communities with the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate, supporting participants within the context of their identity, family, community, tribe, history, culture, and traditions.
